Going Forth is a Concert March written originally for organ by Brian Daniels. It is based on Song 34 written by the 16th Century English composer, virginalist and organist Orlando Gibbons, which became the highly popular ‘Forth in Thy Name, O Lord, I Go’ with the words written by Charles Wesley.
The organ piece was first published by Animus Music Publishing, and we are grateful for their kind permission to make and publish this arrangement for String Orchestra.
