Honeysuckle Rose is a huge Jazz standard, written by Thomas ‘Fats’ Waller in 1929. This and ‘Ain’t Misbehavin’’ were originally written for the musical revue ‘Hot Chocolates’ and have become two of the most enduring compositions from this Jazz giant.
This arrangement with Trombone solo by Mike Innes captures the essence of the original piece, whilst bringing it up to date for a modern audience. A great concert piece.
