Midsummer 5 | Colin Shaw

This is an entry level piece for 5 players. The parts can be doubled-up, especially the tambourine and bass drum.
Floor toms can double as bass drums (even loose-headed timpani!)
Each part is important in this piece, but the snare drum and cymbal parts have extra techniques that need to be mastered – rim shots and rim clicks for the snare drum, and choked cymbal moments.
